CBN Jr. High, had orientation day for students who are new this fall. Orientation is a day when you tour the school and get a little information about what it will be like to go there. Freshmen to CBN were welcomed by staff and where welcomed with a cake while doing some integration activities.
CBN Jr. High, provides students with the opportunity to develop skills that will help them succeed in high school, college, career, and life. It teaches them how to think critically, work collaboratively, manage their time effectively, and become responsible citizens.
With engagement, home and school come together as a team. Schools empower parents and caregivers by providing them with ways to actively participate, promoting them as important voices in the school and removing barriers to engagement.
Children whose families are engaged in their education are more like to earn higher grades and score higher on tests, graduate from high school, develop self-confidence and motivation in the classroom and have better social skills and expected classroom behavior.
